MOSAIC National Collective collects only what you choose to share with us, uses it to stay in touch about MOSAIC, and never sells it.
Who we are
MOSAIC National Collective, Incorporated ("MOSAIC," "we," "us") is a nonprofit professional organization for wedding and event professionals, incorporated in Pennsylvania.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through mosaicnationalcollective.com, our interest form and our emails, and how we handle it. It does not cover other websites we link to, such as Instagram.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, plus limited technical information that any website receives.
Our interest form. Required: first name, last name, email address. Optional: business or organization name, professional role or area of expertise, city, state, the topics you want to hear about, and whether you agreed to receive email updates.
Emails you send us. Your email address, name and whatever you include in your message.
Visiting the website. Technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the site that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technology (see Cookies and analytics).
We do not ask for payment details, government ID numbers or sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not include it in messages to us.
How we use your information
Respond to your inquiry and follow up on the topics you selected.
Send email updates about membership, programs, events and opportunities, but only if you opted in.
Understand interest in our work, for example how many people asked about Future Forward 2027.
Plan MOSAIC's membership, programming and partnerships.
Keep the website working, secure and easy to use.
Meet legal obligations.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
Email updates and your consent
Submitting our interest form is not the same as signing up for our emails. Our form includes an optional box that reads: "Yes, I'd like to receive email updates from MOSAIC about its membership, programs, events, and opportunities." It is unchecked unless you check it.
If you check it, we add you to our mailing list.
If you leave it unchecked, we use your information only to respond to your inquiry and keep a record of your interest. We won't add you to our mailing list.
Every email update includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to stop at any time by writing to info@mosaicnationalcollective.com. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails; we may still reply to messages you send us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other organizations for their own marketing.
Inside MOSAIC, your information is seen only by our founders and the National Leadership Council members who need it to respond to you or plan our work.
We use a small number of service providers to run our website and communications. They handle information on our behalf under their own privacy policies:
Squarespace hosts our website, stores form submissions and our contact list, sends email updates, and provides site analytics. Squarespace Privacy Policy
Google Fonts delivers the typefaces on our website. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address. Google Privacy Policy
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights or safety of MOSAIC or others, or as part of a merger or transfer of MOSAIC's operations to another nonprofit.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Our website, run on Squarespace, uses two kinds:
Essential cookies keep the site working and secure. The site cannot function properly without them.
Analytics cookies tell us how many people visit, which pages they view and how they found us. We see this in aggregate, not as a profile of you.
You can accept or decline analytics cookies through the cookie banner on our website, and change your choice at any time through its Manage Cookies option. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep your information for as long as it helps us stay in touch about MOSAIC, or until you ask us to delete it. We review our records periodically and delete information we no longer need, unless the law requires us to keep it.
We protect your information with reasonable safeguards: access is limited to the people who need it, and our providers secure their systems. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
See the personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
Delete your information.
Stop sending you email updates.
To make a request, email info@mosaicnationalcollective.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on it. We aim to respond within 45 days.
Some states give residents additional privacy rights. We will honor those rights where they apply to MOSAIC, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Children
Our website and programs are for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as MOSAIC grows, for example when membership opens. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change significantly affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell people on our mailing list by email.
